Our vision is to provide our clients with the high-standard of candidates that they require and children deserve.
Unlike other recruitment companies, Developing Your Potential is divided into 2 main areas; each with their own dedicated consultants:
The Development Team - Teaching Consultants
The Recruitment Team - Recruitment Consultants
The Development Team is responsible for assessing the needs and abilities of each candidate. We have developed a service specifically aimed at supporting all of our candidates when helping them with the next step in their career.
These members of the team will talk you through your employment history so far, what you are hoping to achieve in the future and any barriers you feel you have come across or may still be facing at the moment. Not only do we offer candidates access to the opportunity of placements across the UK, we also offer a bespoke training Course that will help enhance your CV and ensure you have the right skills and experience for preparing you to work in a classroom environment.
By working in conjunction with PGCE qualified teachers we have designed our own bespoke teaching course that will ensure we can enhance all CV's with the necessary skills and experience to improve candidates chances of securing long term employment within the education sector.
The course, The Essential Knowledge of Key Stage Teaching, has been awarded a Quality Mark from the awarding body, Aim Awards.
The course itself is optional but highly recommended to all of our candidates that do not meet the necessary bench marks as it enhances CVs and shows that our candidates are willing to go that extra mile to prepare themselves for working in a classroom environment.
The Recruitment Team is responsible for discussing and arranging your DBS (formally known as CRB), getting in touch with your referees and talking you through the sorts of roles you are looking for.
We pride ourselves in offering a high level of service to both our candidates and clients. Our experienced consultants support each candidate to increase their opportunities and maximise their potential in order for them to jump-start their career in teaching. Our recruitment team are committed to understand the requirements of our clients to ensure we deliver the right staff, for the right role at the right school.
You may also choose to have your CV checked over and adjusted by the team. They will check for any spelling or grammatical mistakes and will also amend it to make it as relevant as possible to the roles that you wish to be put forward for. If a CV has been amended/ changed, we will always send you a copy to ensure that you are happy with the changes that we have made.
Once they have all of the relevant documentation, the recruitment team will canvas your CV out to schools within your area and put you forward for suitable positions.
We are not only passionate about providing excellent service to our candidates and clients alike, but our team of staff in every aspect of the business are of a winning mentality and we believe everything can be achieved with the right desire, attitude and commitment.
